Adele’s sophomore album 21, continues to defy the odds. Despite being released six months ago, 21 is still a fixture in the top 5 of the Billboard 200.With sales of over 3.0 million in the United States, 21 has reached sales of 3 million faster than any album since 2005. With 26 weeks on the chart, peaking at number 1.
In the August issue of Q, Adele revealed that she has already started writing songs for her next album. Speaking on the album, she said:
“”It won’t be a big production. I want it to be quite acoustic and piano-led”, also adding “I want to write it all, record it all, produce it all and master it on my own. I think it’ll take a lot longer because I want to do it this way”
